I think I'd like to do the lifelines in dyneema. It looks like it should be fairly simple. For the gate end get a pelican hook that has an eye instead of a wire swage. For the other end just tie it to the pulpit with lashings. Per side/gate I'd need a pelican hook, a length of lifeline dyneema, and a short length of smaller dyneema for the lashing.
